BC Program: Summary
The BC Character @ Work through Physical Education Program works in partnership with Wake County Public Schools to develop Character Education and improve Physical Fitness in Wake County elementary school children.  Using basketball as a medium, the Net-Works staff, elementary school PE teachers and community volunteers provide weekly practices for boys and girls in grades 3-5 in local elementary schools.  Children are taught both character and skills (think Harlem Globetrotters) that they commit to practice daily.  The skills are showcased through the year at performances for family, friends and the community.
