BC Program: Past, Present, Future
  
Program Pilot
      2006-2007
       Funded by individual private donations - $50,000
       Partnered with Wake County Public School System
            - 7 elementary schools
            - 400 + participants, boys and girls, grades 3-5
            - Led by Net-Works staff, assisted by WCPSS elementary school PE teachers

Program Expansion
      2007-2008
      Funded by individual, corporate, foundation giving - $150,000
      At WCPSS request, BC Program was doubled in size
            - 15 elementary schools
            - 800+ participants, boys and girls, grades 3-5
            - Led by Net-Works staff, assisted by WCPSS elementary school PE teachers

Program Transition and Expansion
      2008-2009
      Funded by individual, corporate, foundations, in-kind giving - $175,000
      NWs “BC” Character @ Work through Physical Education grant making program in WCPSS
            - 1000 participants, boys and girls, grades 3-5
            - Led by WCPSS elementary school PE teachers who are trained, assisted and supported by Net-Works staff
            - 20 elementary schools
            - Development research based curriculum, preparation for further expansion
  
Program Future
      2009
      Expansion of NWs “BC” Character @ Work through Physical Education Program within the state of North Carolina
            - BC Program implemented in multiple NC counties
            - Development of BC Program as a physical education curriculum module
            - Seminars for current physical educators in North Carolina
            - Seminars, Training Programs for future physical educators attending North Carolina Schools of Education.
      2011
       Expansion of “BC” Character @ Work through Physical Education Program Nationally with the state of North Carolina as our        cornerstone and home base
